2009 Speedo Grand Challenge Writeup

NAC SWIMMERS IMPRESSIVE IN IRVINE!
| The Nashville Aquatic Club was represented by
19 swimmers at the Irvine Speedo Challenge in Irvine CA April 24-26.
The meet featured outstanding competition including US National
team members Jason Lezak, Michael Kleuh, and Chloe Sutton as well
as Olympic medalist Ous Melloui. Among the NAC swimmers new NAC
top ten performances were turned in by; Dakota Hodgson (100 fly,
200 fly, 200 IM), Chase Lovelace (100 breast, 200 breast), Hannah
Runyon-Hass (100 breast), Parker Camp (200 back), Paschall Davis
(50 free), Megan Goss (200 breast), Allison Maher (200 breast),
Jarvis Werkhaven (100 breast, and Eleanor Phillips (200 fly). In
addition to these fantastic performances there were three new Junior
National time standards achieved by Dakota Hodgson (200 IM), Eleanor
Phillips (200 fly), and Jarvis Werkhaven (100 breast). This meet
much like last years Grand Prix meet in Ohio, has provided
this group of swimmers with a great head start on the summer racing
season. |
