2009 NIKE Music City Invitational

11-12 Girls Break a 28 year old record in the 200 Medley Relay

The NAC girls (Erika Giuse, Annie Kyriakidis, Carrie Johnson, Emma Blackwood) went 1:54.95 to break a 28 year old team record and Southeastern Swimming LSC record.

NAC had several swimmers burst onto the National scene making first time Junior and Senior National Qualifying times. Short Course Junior National Time Standards were achieved by Sam Sloan in the 400 IM (4:03.72). Maclin Davis (21.50) and Pat Killian (21.57) made the 50 Free standard in the tightest race of the meet. Parker Camp made the standard in the 100 Fly (51.15). Dakota Hodgson made the Long Course Junior National Standard in the 200 Free (1:39.20) and the Long Course Senior National Standard in the 1650 Freestyle (15:17.49).

New Nike Music City Invitational Meet Records were broken by Alex Goss in the 13-14 boys 100 Breaststroke (1:01.93) & 200 Breaststroke (2:12.83), Annie Kyriakidis in the 100 Breaststroke (1:07.38), Dakota Hodgson in the 1650 Freestyle (15:17.49) & the 13-14 Boys 400 Medley Relay consisting of Ted Curtiss, Alex Goss, Taylor Charles & Wesley Nealy (3:43.03).

The Nashville Aquatic Club posted 376 best times, almost 60% of the total swims. NAC had 57 new Southeastern Championship qualifying times posted by 34 athletes. They were : Mollie Allen, Kate Beuter, Corinne Brien, Victoria Campbell, Casey Charles, Paige Colaberdino, Quinn Cowan, Jane Anne Darken, Aspen Dimmick, Chatham Dobbs, Andrew Dupuis, Julia Jane Eskew, Morgan Flynn, Alex Gray, Melissa Guo, Katrina Keirns, Seth Kyriakidis, Brenna Logan, Will McCall, Keely McCulla, Austin Morris, Eamon Morris, Nadia Nik, Chloe Overton, Artyom Pavlichenko, Lexi Piranian, Eli Rawls, Matt Robbins, Elizabeth Stinson, Taryn Wade, Sophie Walker, Madison Wenzler, Xiuya Yao, Youli Yao.
