Nashville Aquatic Club Dominates Another The Nashville Aquatic Club continued its reign of dominance with another outstanding performance at the 2010 Southeastern Short Course Championship winning by 1200+ points over second place Excel Aquatics. Memphis Tiger Swimming finished a close third just 270 points behind second. NAC placed in the top three in seven out of the eight age groups winning 11-12 girls, 13-14 boys and both senior age groups. 10 & under boys & 13-14 girls finished second overall with the 11-12 boys finishing 3rd. NAC had several Individual High Point winners including 11 year old Annie Kyriakidis tying for first place in her first 11-12 Championship Meet, 13 year old Sophie Pilkinton narrowly missed winning the 13-14 girls division by one point to finish second. Also finishing second in their respective age groups were Maclin Davis (Senior Boys) and Taylor Charles (13-14 Boys). ' Two Southeastern Swimming Records were broken by NAC swimmers. Alex Goss broke Chas Mortons 200 Breast record from 1985 of 2:11.47 by a half second posting a 2:10.97. This after just breaking the 100 Breast record two weeks earlier at the High School State Meet. Great Job Alex!!! The other record came from the 11-12 Girls 200 Medley relay team of Erika Giuse, Annie Kyriakidis, Carrie Johnson and Tatum Wade. The girls posted a blazing 1:53.96 to break the record set by NAC in December by almost a second. Lexi Piranian qualified for the NAC Travel Team in the 100 & 200 Breaststrokes. Great job Lexi! The Nashville Aquatic Club had 68 top three swims (19 Gold Medal swims) on their way to victory. Swimmers posting top 3 performances at the meet included: Elizabeth Stinson(1650 Free, 500 Free, 1000 Free) Additional swimmers posting top 8 swims included: Morgan Flynn, Taryn Wade, Eamon Morris, Tatum Wade, Andrew Dupuis, Brian Bolton, Austin Morris, Xuiya Yao, Melissa Guo, Theresa Smith, Rhett Lundy, Jarvis Werkhaven, Chatham Dobbs, Anna Grainger, Michelle Chintanaphol, Kyra Logan, Julia Jane Eskew, Daniel Musselwhite, Paige Colaberdino, Pat Killian, Becca Dedert, Allison Maher, Katrina Keirns, and Keely McCulla. NAC Top 10 performances were posted by the following swimmers: Erika Giuse ( 1000 Free 8th, 50 back 2nd, 100 Back 6th) Relays placing in the NAC Top 10: 11-12 Girls 200 Medley 1st (Erika Giuse, Annie Kyriakidis, Carrie
